Victorian Octagonal Lamp Table with Inlaid Central Star

Description

The octagonal top of this 19th Century occasional table is inlaid with radiating veneers of rosewood, mahogany and sycamore and a central star. The delicately shaped apron has finely turned finials which accentuate the octagonal shape. This tilting table is raised on a turned baluster column, curved tripod legs and scroll feet. The condition of this table is very good, it stands solidly with no wobbles. The radiating, contrasting veneers of the different woods make this table an eye catching piece.
