Superb Antique Victorian Walnut Spoon Back Salon Armchair C1880

This is a lovely antique victorian walnut salon armchair and dating from aorund 1880. It has a lovely carved spoon shaped show frame with deep buttoned and padded back rest. With scrolled walnut arms with padded elbow rests and shaped front supports. It has a deeply padded stuff over seat above a carved frieze. And stands on lovely turned walnut legs on castors.

It has its original horsehair and is covered in a green/gold/bronzed velvet fabric. It is in very good condition with a lovely colour and deep patination to the walnut.

Measures: 40" high X seat height 15" X 34" deep X 27" wide
