A stunning example of an Edwardian combined baby rattle with exquisite repousse decoration with five bells and the whistle in perfect working order.

The handle is made from bright and iridescent Mother of Pearl shell with a lovely glossy patina.

The silver is clearly hallmarked for Birmingham 1905 together with the makers mark E.S.B. for Edward Souter Barnsley.

A highly collectible and sought-after heirloom to be handed through the generations.
