A Fine Set of Six Gothic Lace Back Chairs

19th century
Description

A fine set of six Gothic lace back chairs C1800 of superb colour and patination. These chairs are made from Elm, Ash and Beech with H-from stretchers, turned legs with Gothic tracery like backs. One of the arm chairs has been matched to the set as it has a slight variation of turning in the front and back legs but its not noticeable.

The chairs have had a couple of historical restorations and one arm chair has had some wood worm in the seat at some stage but all are in excellent condition and very sturdy.

Measurements are as follows:

Height 90cm x Depth 37.5cm (single chairs) x Width 38cm (singles)

40cm (Arm chairs) x 46cm (Arm chairs)

Seat Height 43cm x Depth 34 - 37cm x Width 38cm - 46cm
