Pair of Octagonal Silver Candlesticks

1900 - 1920
Description

A Pair of Silver Candlesticks.

The candlesticks with lift out circular panelled drip pans, finished with down swept reeded rims. The classical vase shaped candle holders octagonal panels tapering to a ringed circular socle. The stems of octagonal shape tapering inward and downward to a ringed socle, and thence spreading in octagonal panels to a circular foot, the edges eith reeded decoration.

Hallmarked for Alexander Clark, Sheffield 1923.
