The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1950s.
The watch has a signed hand-winding movement, calibre R458, which is working nicely.
The case is 9 carat gold and there are hallmarks inside the case back for Edinburgh 1956 with a case maker's mark for the British Watch Case Company.

The case is in good condition, just a fairly small “ding” to the back. The winding crown has the C logo.
The lens is in good condition.
The signed dial is in good condition, just a hint of age related darkening but nothing serious at all. Feuille shaped hands, subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch comes in a clam style Cyma presentation box.
