The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1930s.
In 1881 the company started importing movements from Switzerland, such as the one we have in this particular watch. It is a stem-winding movement, signed Thomas Russell & Son, Liverpool, which is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and it is in good condition.
The watch glass is also in good order.
The signed dial has a short hairline running horizontally from number 1 but otherwise is in lovely condition with original blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.
The watch comes with a single chain, 29cm long including the T-bar and the clasp.
The watch and chain will be sent in a new presentation box.
