This is a large antique bronze dinner gong mounted in a bamboo frame. A Victorian instrument dating to the late 19th century, circa 1890.

Hammered finish with deep sides

Leather hanging strap

Bamboo frame displaying good colour and a desirable aged patina

Decorated with geometric inset panels and handle to the top
