Description

A handsome English cut crystal jar decorated with the ever-popular hobnail design.

The lid is made from solid or sterling silver hallmarked for Birmingham 1921 together with the makers mark for Synyer and Beddoes. The top is crowned with a wonderful piece of antique tortoiseshell with a good glossy patina showing off the patterns and colours of the shell.

The centre of the tortoiseshell is inlaid with a delicate and intricate silver pique decoration with bows top and bottom.

Excellent, undamaged condition measuring 3" tall with a lid diameter measuring 3".
