Pair of mid C19th ivory-mounted burr fruit-wood lidded urns of classical campana design .

Smart pair of mantelpiece vases of classical design . The removable lids with turned knop finials and ivory rings and fluting . The campana- shaped vase bodies with carved 'knulled' lips and gadrooned lower sections. Raised on a turned socle base with an ivory ring detail and octagonal faceted foot .

The whole turned from well-figured burr fruit-wood which has obtained a glowing honey-coloured patina.

One lid knop stem of minor varying height .
