The desk stands on tapering angled legs terminating in large brass castors.
The kneehole is a generous 20" (51cm) wide x 24" (61cm) high.
The desk is in excellent condition and has been well looked after, having recently been sympathetically restored. It is strong and sturdy and has a lovely rich patina with some minor sun fading but nothing detrimental. The drawers open well and are generally clean and tidy inside. There are normal minor signs of age and use but no major damages or anything detrimental. It has been cleaned and lightly polished and is ready for use.
