Description

Outstanding 17th Century Carved Oak Panelled Coffer, Circa 1680-90. Coffer in good original condition with original top, front & back panels & ends. Internal candle box with lid. Lid mouldings held with original wooden pegs (see photo). The original loop wire hinges which are still evident have been replaced with strap hinges. Beautifully decorative, well executed carving to three panel front. Working lock with key. Superb colour & condition.
