A Gorgeous Silver Trinket Box by William Comyns

1900 - 1920
Description

A gorgeous silver trinket box by the great William Comyns. The body of this lovely piece is oval in shape and the box stands on four fleur de lys legs. The lid is hinged and is embellished with applied Classical designs. Once opened the deep burgundy velvet lined interior is revealed. A wonderful piece, both decorative and usable.
