Description

Fabulous Art Nouveau movement long oak hall stand and seat c.1905. Almost eight feet long with 18 original brass hooks, in two sizes, for hats and coats over a stick and umbrella stand with removable brass drip trays. Flanked with mirrors on both sides, plus a useful little marble top cupboard and glove drawer on the right and a small seat behind a leaded glass partition to the left. Superb solid oak frame shaped and carved with organic plant forms typical of Art Nouveau design, continued on the legs of the seat and the cupboard door panel. Original textured and tinted glazing. Missing the tip of the central coat hook, otherwise excellent condition. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops.

Splits into two sections and the cupboard detaches for ease of delivery.
