A Superb Quality Victorian Period Burr Walnut and Marquetry Pier Cabinet.

Description

A superb quality Victorian Period burr walnut and marquetry pier cabinet. Having a rectangular top veneered in the finest burr walnut with floral marquetry inlay to the frieze. The central panelled door with a fine marquetry inlaid floral panel with ormolu moulding, flanked by female ormolu caryatids and with further inlay to the pilasters and plinth. The door opening to reveal a velvet lined shelved interior. The burr walnut veneered ends also with ormolu mounts. English circa 1880 in the French taste.

Dimensions: 31" wide x 13" deep x 43" high

Condition: This pier cabinet is in excellent condition
