Description

A very elegant and useful desk accessory the blade is made from English solid or sterling silver, hallmarked for Sheffield 1900 together with the makers mark for the famous Mappin Brothers.

The other side of the blade is lucky enough also to have the design registration number 221148 for the year 1893.

The silver ferule is highly decorative and a perfect contrast to the simple and very smart glossy tortoiseshell handle.

A very usable piece in excellent condition measuring 7 3/4" long.
