A Superb Quality Burr Walnut Victorian Period Fold Over Card Table

19th century
Description

A superb quality burr walnut Victorian Period fold over card table. Having a rectangular hinged top veneered in beautifully figured burr walnut swivelling and opens to reveal a baize lined playing surface banded in burr walnut. The top supported on four fluted columns, acanthus carved swept feet with inset castors and united by a turned and fluted stretcher. English circa 1870-1880

Dimensions: 36" wide x 18" deep x 28" high

We have an almost identical card table on our website which is slightly smaller in size, but could make a near pair, see pictures

Condition: This card table is in excellent condition, replacement baize lining.
