A Gorgeous Art Nouveau Silver Purse

1900 - 1920
Description

A small hallmarked silver purse from the Edwardian period. This gorgeous piece has a decorated exterior featuring flowering Iris in the Art Nouveau taste. The body is hinged, fitted with a push button clasp, belcher chain and finger ring. The interior is the original deep green moire silk, divided into four compartments. Dimensions below.

Condition :- Very good, there are some small pin head sized dimples to the body, commensurate with age and use. The interior is in very good condition with slight wear from the clasp.
