Description

Top notch and superb condition, this very grand set sits in a silk and velvet lined presentation box, covered with leather and embossed.

Both knife and fork are beautifully decorated with a plethora of various ferns, most Victorian. The ferrules and end caps are decorated with a foliate design and the handles are made from antique creamy Ivory without damage.

Both sides of the end cap are blessed with the English design registration lozenge but are hard to make out, I would date them to around 1860.

A grand size, with the knife measuring 13 1/2" in length and the box measuring 15" x 4 3/4".
