Description

This antique Swedish leather wing armchair has a fabulous shape & is very comfortable, helped by the sloping back & head support. The inside leather is deep buttoned & it has a loose cushion. The leather is naturally aged & I particularly like the moulded leather ridge which wraps around the top of the back & down the shaped wings. There is plenty of hand tacking all over the frame & on the front of the scroll over arms. Check out the unusual design of the walnut frame under the leather, especially from the side angle. The front legs are carved at the tops & all the legs are a bold shape. This armchair is in good condition & I would date it to around the 1920’s period.
