Description

A charming late Regency or early Victorian rosewood SEWING TABLE in fine original condition.

The well figured top features a frieze drawer, with a pretty shaped and pleated silk-lined sliding embroidery box below, whilst it is supported on a well carved solid rosewood central column leading to a carved collared quadrapartite base and scrolled feet with original brass castors. 20.5ins wide; 29ins high.

***Whilst sewing may not be the pastime it once was, this makes an ideal ~ and inexpensive ~ lamp or side table for the Drawing Room.
