Beautiful, Large French Bronze Sculpture, reduction cast from the marble entitled ‘Venus au Bain’ by Étienne-Maurice Falconnet (1716-1791) by Ferdinand Barbedienne.

Marked ‘F.Barbedienne fondeur’ and with Achille Collas seal. Mid 19th century.

Very good condition overall, modest age related wear to the patina in places, which is to be expected, some small scratches in places, in particular to rear of right shoulder, do not detract from the overall appearance.
