Small Antique Georgian Regency Bow Front Chest of Drawers

19th century
Description

A lovely mahogany chest of drawers of nice small proportions dating from the early 1800s. It has an attractive bow front and is set on sweeping bracket feet with three long drawers. The drawers are oak lined and have brass plate handles. They are not original however they look good and are in keeping with the style of the chest.

It is in good condition and is a sturdy piece that has been well made and well looked after. The drawers are generally clean and tidy and all run well. It is not without a few small surface marks and signs of age and use but nothing major. The rear leg has been repaired at some point but is strong and sturdy. The top of the chest has slightly warped with age but it isn't detrimental and overall it displays very well.
