Elmgarden has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
The desk has a curved shape to the front, with huge Roundels and an angel on either side, at the back there are 7 drawers including a double depth filing drawer
The desk has a new tooled burgundy inset leather, also in this curved shape.
The desk is very impressive and sound, it has been attacked by (French) woodworm, this is treated and dead now, it has not affected the stability of the desk and due to the dark colour is not particularly noticeable.
This is one piece desk and very heavy, so may not be very accessible to some locations
The desk is 31” high, 69” long and 31” deep. the knee hole is 23” high and 25” wide
