A Bouilotte Lamp with Original Metal Shade

1900 - 1920
Description

Circa 1920-1940 a good quality brass bouilotte lamp with three candle holders shaped like trumpets attached to the main column.

The lamp comes with the original metal shade which is in very good condition, and fits with a purpose made attachment at the top. It is unusual for shades like this to have survived without damage.

The lamp measures 62cm in height with a 16.5cm diameter base, and the candle holders are 30cm high from the base to the very top.

The shade on it's own measures 26.5cm in diameter at the top, 40.5cm diameter at the bottom and the sides are 15cm long.

The light has the original weight inside the base and was rewired by the previous owner. It has been PAT tested by our electrician ensuring the 'push on/off' button works safely. It weighs 2.9kgs without the shade.
