Gents 1956 Longines 14ct gold wrist watch.

The watch has a 17 jewel hand-winding movement, calibre 19.4, which is working nicely. The movement is signed with the Longines name and the serial number 9897957 dates it back to 1956.

The watch measures 32.5mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is 14ct gold and is stamped as such inside the case back, together with the Longines Wittnauer name. The case is in good condition, just a little surface marking to the back. The winding crown is a later replacement.

The lens is in good condition.

The signed dial is in good condition and the sunken subsidiary seconds dial is a handsome feature.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
