Description

A fine and unusual 19th century Japanese vase of large proportions, this vase is superbly decorated throughout with mythical scenes, the attention to detail is like no other.

The vase has had sustained some damage over its lifetime - there is a couple of hairline cracks and a large piece has broken off the rim at some stage which has been glued back at some point. There is also an older restoration to the rim and a chip.

This is a extremely decorative vase and would make a nice addition to any collection.
