Description

A wonderful 19th century French serpentine shaped table. Of excellent construction in attractive kingwood veneers onto a mahogany carcas. Decorated throughout with exquisite floral and foliate marquetry inlay in satinwood and boxwood set into ebonised and burr walnut panels. Further embellished with crisply cast ormolu mounts. With a single long drawer to the front, and finished to all 4 sides so it could be free standing within a room if desired. Sympathetically refinished in our workshops and now offered for sale in excellent condition, with a great colour and patina, ready to go straight into the home.
