Solid Antique English Shaped Sterling Silver Box - 1918

Description

This is a really smart box, perfect for either a lady or gentleman. Made from solid English sterling silver the box has a good weight of 4.75 Troy Ounces / 147.8 Grams.

The shaped box has a slightly domed lid with an all over striped engine turned decoration, a great tailored look.

The hinged lid fits well and once opened reveals the original gilded interior in excellent condition. The hallmark can be seen for Birmingham 1918, 100 years old and a true antique example. The makers initials are also found for the silversmith, Cohen & Charles.

Excellent condition measuring 5 1/8" x 3 1/4" x 1 1/4".
