Pair Victorian Very Tall and Heavy Brass Candlesticks

19th century
Description

Circa 1880 or earlier, this is the finest pair of heavy brass candlesticks of this type we have ever had in stock. They have the original weighted base underneath the bases, and each has three lion's claw feet.

The drip pans are decorated around with little clover shapes, and the knop in the middle is soft in shape with decorative bands around the column. See photo 3. There is one top of a clover shape missing, and although it is barely noticeable, the price reflects this.

The candlesticks measure 60cm in height; the bases are approximately 20cm across at the widest part, and the drip pans are about 15cm in diameter.

If they can be collected from us in SW London we will pack them safely and offer 20% on the price.
