Marylebone Antiques has dated this piece to the 1890s.
Either way, it does have some age & the mahogany has a nice colour & figuring. The top has a reeded edge, with a brushing slide below. There are four graduated drawers below with brass handles, fine dovetails & locks. This chest sits on stepped out bracket feet. So, if it’s not Georgian it must at least date to around the 1890-1910 period. Hard to say really. Either way, it’s a very well made chest of drawers.
