A French brass cased striking carriage clock. An enamel dial with 'moon' blued steel hands and black Roman numerals signed by retailer 'R H Halford & Sons, London'. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the hours and 1/2 hours on a gong. Movement backplate numbered 326. A lever escapement. The original travelling box. Circa 1890.
