Pair of Regency Sabre Leg Armchairs C.1830.

Description

Fine pair of Regency era sabre leg open armchairs c.1830. Low backs with shaped top over a crisply carved stretcher. Curving arms with an unusual carved detail at the terminals and raised on silhouette baluster shaped supports. Large padded seats upholstered in a soft brown leather. Crossbanded cushion moulding across the front edge with shaped brackets below and raised on gracefully curving sabre legs. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops.
