Long Oak Dresser Base C.1820.

19th century
Description

Early 19th.c. oak and mahogany crossbanded dresser base c.1820. Longer than most with plenty of useful storage space inside. Two plank top with an applied moulded edge over three drawers of graduated depth and a pair of large two door cupboards fitted with shelves inside. Mahogany crossbanded drawer fronts and door panels. Original brass handles (a couple of replacement backplates) and escutcheons. Oak carcass and side panels, original pine back boards and floor. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops.
