Carved Mahogany Open Armchair C.1860.

Description

Very handsome large mid 19th.c. mahogany open armchair c.1860. High buttoned upholstered backrest, padded arms and generous sprung seat upholstered in a soft moss-green velvet. Shapely solid mahogany frame of particularly good colour with crisply carved scrolling foliate detail to the back rest, arm supports, apron and front legs. Raised on white pot castors. Excellent condition with clean covers.
