It is in good condition for its age. The upholstery is clean and free from any rips or major wear. The revolving mechanism runs smoothly with very minimal give side to side and when extended upwards the stool is very stable. The wood has developed a nice aged patina. It is free from any major knocks or splits and is overall a sturdy construction. There are some small marks and minor knocks around the base but nothing detrimental and it displays beautifully and is certainly a very usable piece.
