C19th Anglo Indian Solid Satinwood Chiffonier

Description

Good mid C19th Anglo Indian solid satinwood chiffonier of stylish and bold proportions; the raised superstructure having a panelled back with the shelf on carved turned supports with a brass fixing to the top; and matching half pillasters to the back. The well figured rectangular top above a shaped moulding over a pair of panelled doors below, flanked by pillasters with carved capitals standing on a plinth base raised on unusual shaped carved feet. The interior with 2 shelves. Excellent quality, striking satinwood, with a good colour and patination.
