A Highly Unusual and Rare Walnut Edwardian Period Metamorphic Roulette

Description

A highly unusual and rare walnut Edwardian Period metamorphic games/chess/roulette and backgammon table. Having a rectangular solid walnut top lifting off and revealing on the underside an inlaid chess and draughts board. Also incorporated in the table is a roulette wheel, a roulette table, three mahogany lift out compartments holding a variety of chess pieces, backgammon pieces, cards and games counters. When the compartments are removed there is a backgammon board. The table constructed of solid walnut throughout and supported on square tapering reeded supports with brass cup castors. English circa 1900-1910
