A 1910s Equity Pocket Watch by Waltham.

Description

A 1910s Equity pocket watch by Waltham.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed with both the Equity Watch Co, Boston, U.S.A. seven jewels. Equity was one of the names registered and used by Waltham. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch itself measures 50.5mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and is the Star model made by the Dennison Watch Case Company… Aaron Dennison had close associations with Waltham. The case is in nice condition with only minor marking from use.

The glass lens is in good condition.

The dial has a very faint hairline crack below the sub seconds dial but overall it is in nice condition with blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.

Price includes worldwide postage.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
