Victorian Sterling Silver Scimitar Sword Bookmark 1887

Description

A rare and unusual Victorian SOLID SILVER BOOKMARK made in the form of a Scimitar Sword. The bookmark has a slot in it so that it can be slipped over a page in a book, marking it for you. This rare bookmark has not been engraved with a previous owner’s initials or family monogram.

The body has been impressed with a full set of English solid sterling silver hallmarks and the bookmark is in excellent condition despite being over 130 years old.

This Superb Victorian Book or Page Marker would make a superb addition to any collection or a gift that can still be used today.

There is no damage and no repairs.

Dimensions:
