Carved Oak French Writing Table

Description

Stunning carved bleached oak French writing table/desk with leather top. The desk dates from the early to mid 1800's and features dome beautiful carving. It has barley twist stretchers and intricate foliate carving on the front and sides. The drawer pulls are carved north wind faces. The desk is carved on all four sides and has an attractive floral carving on the corners. There is a more recent leather insert on the top.
