Fine Quality Victorian Mahogany Desk, Circa 1900.

Description

Fine Quality Victorian Mahogany Desk, Circa 1900 in Chippendale Style with gadrooned top edge thumb moulding above a configuration of four cock-beaded drawers with original brass handles and locks. Finely carved cabriole legs with acanthus leaf carving and pointed pad 'hoof' foot. The back of the desk has dummy drawers and handles so that it can be positioned free-standing in the room. Could also be used as a dressing table.
