A Very Fine Pair of French Bronze & Well Grained Sienna Marble Grand Tour Twin Handle Tazza of impressive and heavy proportions. First quarter of the Nineteenth Century.
Each circular bowl with lobed reeded body and decorative moulded thumb detail rims and twin bronze handles raised on square shaped and stepped marble plinth base with a band of acanthus leaf bronze mount.
Condition: These pieces have been professionally cleaned, original patinated bronze with no wear at high points. Small loss to marble at one base corner, see image.
Height: 9.5" (24cm). Width: (including handles) 7" (18cm). Width: (at base) 4.25" (11cm). Depth: (at base) 4.25" (11cm).
