Description

A stunning antique English sterling silver frame of square form with a circular glazed aperture.

The back is made from solid English Oak and incorporates a folding easel stand. The intricate and highly decorative silver is topped with a scroll motif to the top.

The silver is fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1899, a true Victorian example, together with the makers initials for the silversmith, Henry Matthews. A lovely example in excellent condition measuring 6" x 6 3/8" with the aperture measuring 3 5/8" in diameter.
