Description

A magnificent example, I have never come across one of these examples in this sort of size, measuring 10" in length.

The frame around the original glass magnifier is made from pierced or reticulated sterling silver fully hallmarked for London 1897 together with the makers mark for the silversmith, Samuel Jacob.

The handle is too, sterling silver with a raised, embossed decoration.

An impressive desk-top piece in excellent condition measuring 10" in length x 5" x 1" thick.
