A magnificent Victorian mechanical table bell beautifully pierced or reticulated with floral and foliate decoration with a vacant circular cartouche to the front.

The finial to the top just needs a twist to create a clear, pleasant but authoritative ring. The silver is fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1889 together with the makers mark for Samuel Walton Smith.

Standing on three most attractive legs, it remains in excellent condition measuring 4" in diameter x 4" tall.
