The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1920s.

The watch has a signed key-wound movement which is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner fitted cover, and then a hinged cover.
The watch measures 54mm diameter excluding the stem and the loop. The case is marked as being 'argentan' which is an alloy of nickel, copper and zinc finished to look like silver. The case is in lovely condition and the engine turned detail to the back is still nice and crisp.

There is a service paper within the case back from J Earnshaw, a Brighouse based watch and clockmaker, and jeweller.
The watch glass is in good condition.
The dial is in good condition too and has blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.
The watch comes with a single chain, 30cm long including the T-bar and the clasp.
The watch and chain will be sent in a new presentation box.
