The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The watch has a Swiss 17-jewel stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is stamped the Semloh lever 17 jewels, Swiss made and the Cyma calibre number 998. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch itself measures 50.7mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and is the Star model made by the Dennison Watch Case Company. The case has light surface marks from use but overall it is in nice condition for a 1920s piece. The inner front cover has a couple of spot marks.

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover. Inside there is a glass lens which is in nice condition.
The white enamel dial is in nice condition.
The watch has its original blued steel hands.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
