Ladies' antique silver Waltham fob watch with chain.

The watch has a gilt stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and the serial number 15,935,880 dates it back to 1907. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 40mm diameter excluding the stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks for Birmingham 1907 together with a case maker's mark for Aaron Dennison. The Dennison Watch Company produced cases for various watch makers but had a particularly close relationship with Waltham. The case is in good condition and the engine turned detail is still nice and crisp on the back of the watch.

The watch glass is in good condition.

The signed dial looks good to the naked eye. On closer inspection, there is a hairline crack towards the bottom.

The watch comes with a single chain which is of ideal proportion for the watch. It measures 26cm long including the T-bar and the clasp, and there is a shorter chain which has a silver fob attached.

The watch and chain will come in a new presentation box.
