Good Yew Wood Windsor Chair Worksop Maker

19th century
Description

A Very Good Yew Wood Low Windsor Chair a Worksop chair almost certainly from the Allsop family of chair makers, the christmas tree piercings in the back splat is a typical hall mark of the Allsops, the seat is Elm as they always are, it has a crinolin stretcher, the Yew selected for this chair is very knotty and with contasting colours.

The condition is excellent with a great colour and patina.
